This has become one of The Missouri Bar’s premiere events. Over 150 teachers have attended this workshop in the last three years and have learned how to incorporate current and controversial issues in their classes without the teacher becoming the center of the controversy. REGISTRATION IS LIMITED!

Using Controversial Issues in the Classroom

When: Wednesday, April 22—noon until 5:00 p.m.
Thursday, April 23—8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Where: Columbia, MO – Stoney Creek Inn (www.stoneycreekinn.com)

Who should attend: Teachers of American government, history, current affairs and law in Grades 9-12.

What will attendees get?

§ $50.00 toward substitute reimbursement.

§ $25.00 for mileage.

§ Lodging and meals.

§ Tons of instructional materials ready to use in the classroom.
