Cindy Reams Martin is a solo practitioner in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and is licensed to practice in Missouri and in Kansas. Cindy graduated from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Law in 1984 and from William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri in 1981. Cindy has an active commercial and business litigation and transactional practice, and an active appellate practice. Cindy was elected by her peers to serve as a lawyer member on the 16th Judicial Circuit Nominating Commission for a six year term commencing in 2004. She has served since 2001 as one of six lawyers appointed by the Supreme Court to the Missouri Board of Law Examiners. Cindy served as President of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association in 1999 and as President of the Young Lawyers Section of the Association in 1990. She served as President of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Foundation in 2002 and 2003, and as President of the Missouri Institute for Justice in 2003. |
