Appellate Commission Seeks Applicants for Vacancy on Western District
Commission Will Meet December 3 to Select Panel of Nominees

The Appellate Judicial Commission is seeking applicants for the current vacancy on the Missouri Court of Appeals, Western District. Applicants for the previous three vacancies - replacing Judges Joseph P. Dandurand, Ronald R. Holliger and Paul M. Spinden – will be considered without having to apply again. Others must file an application by Monday, November 16 at 5 p.m. (Details/Applications Information)

Gov. Nixon Appoints Circuit Judge Gary Gaertner to Eastern District Court of Appeals
GaertnerGov. Jay Nixon early this week announced the appointment of Judge Gary M. Gaertner, Jr. to the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District. He will fill a vacancy created by the retirement of the Judge Booker T. Shaw. Judge Gaertner had been both a state and federal prosecutor before serving nine years on the St. Louis County Circuit Court. (Details)
