How to Report Fraudulent Spam

This tip is provided by Dee Crocker of the Oregon State Bar Professional Liability Fund.

I have been sent some ugly spam lately – you know, the kind from foreign countries or rich clients with enormous offers for performing very little legal work. My suggestion is that these e-mails be forwarded to the FTC (spam@uce.gov) who use the spam to find and stop fraudulent spammers. They also want to receive any spam related to weight-loss, pyramid schemes, or credit repair, etc., if they make false or misleading claims.
