Legal Aid seeks a staff attorney for its Domestic Unit to represent survivors of domestic violence in family law matters.

The attorney will handle divorce, custody, and paternity actions in Jackson, Clay, and Platte Counties.

The position also requires outreach with domestic violence shelters, participation in regional domestic violence prevention organizations, assisting with grant reports, and handling other cases and duties as assigned.

This is a full-time position housed in our Central Office in Kansas City.

Qualifications:
Licensed to practice law in Missouri.
Committed to serving survivors of domestic abuse.
Courtroom experience preferred.


Salary Range is $60,000 - $85,000   DOE
