Attorney Position at Small Litigation Boutique

Position: Attorney Experience Level: 3-5 years

Responsibilities:
• Handle a diverse caseload, including criminal defense, plaintiff side employment, and civil rights matters.
• Conduct legal research, analysis, and writing to support case strategies and motions.
• Prepare pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials and hearings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases.
• Maintain clear and timely communication with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents.

Requirements:
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Missouri and Illinois bars and in good standing.
• 3-5 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on litigation.
• Trial experience in criminal defense and/or civil cases preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation abilities.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Positive attitude, with a commitment to providing quality legal representation.
• Demonstrated passion for client facing work.
