The Christian County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office is accepting applications for a full-time Assistant Prosecuting Attorney. The Assistant Prosecutor position must have a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school, be admitted and in good standing with The Missouri Bar, but new graduates/near future bar takers are encouraged to apply.

The Christian County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office is a file-less office. Thus, the successful candidate will be proficient at keyboarding. Further, we use PROSECUTOR by Karpel as our case management system.

The preferred candidate will have prosecution experience or experience as an intern in a prosecutor’s office and a working knowledge of PROSECUTOR by Karpel or other experience to support the ability to learn and work within an electronic case management system.

This position must be able to pass a criminal background check and a drug test (and will be subject to random drug testing).
