The 20th Judicial Circuit announces an opening and seeks applicants for attorney for the Juvenile Office.
This position is a contract position with the expectation of 35 hours per week, and on call rotation. Pay starts at $70,000.00 yearly ($5,833 monthly).
This position requires the applicant to have graduated from an accredited law school and to have a current license to practice law in the State of Missouri.
Position consists of representation of the Juvenile Officer in appearances before Juvenile Court Judges, in cases involving delinquency, child abuse/neglect, and termination of parental rights. Position may require appellate work as well. Studies or experience in the area of juvenile and criminal law are an asset.
The position will focus primarily on Franklin County with some limited work in Gasconade and Osage Counties. Studies or experience in the area of juvenile and criminal law are an asset. Research and trial experience are preferred, but are not required.
