Position & Responsibilities:
Cunningham, Vogel, and Rost, P.C. is seeking an associate attorney with 1-6 years’ experience and with an interest in municipal representation in land use, litigation, administrative hearings, employment, contracts, Sunshine Law, City Attorney representation, and other aspects of municipal law.
The ideal candidate will possess an inquisitive legal mind, be a clear and effective communicator, and work well in teams while being able to initiate, manage, and complete individual projects and deadlines. Strong legal writing and research skills will be a necessity. Municipal experience is a plus; commitment to representing public sector is essential.
Responsibilities will include drafting and reviewing pleadings, court appearances, and appellate work, handling administrative hearings; as well as reviewing and drafting legislation and contracts; representing clients in public meetings; and participating in public official seminars and training sessions. Candidates must also be willing to assist in other aspects of the firm's practice areas when needed. Candidates will have room to grow and focus on fields within the firm’s practice that come to be of special interest.
Applicants must currently be licensed and in good standing with the Missouri Bar.
Position is hybrid; however, the hired candidate will be expected to work in-office regularly during their probationary period.
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation ranges from $83,000 to $105,000 based on qualifications and experience. Benefits package includes 100% paid health insurance for employee; dental and health insurance; 401(K); bonus pay eligibility up to $40,000+.
