Responsibilities
● Proactively identify and resolve potential issues of non-compliance and work with affiliate personnel to ensure operating procedures are tailored to mitigate potential compliance risks. Coordinates PPGP’s legal activities, including working with outside counsel.
● Directs the maintenance of legal documentation system for the organization, including contracts, leases, policies/procedures, corporate documents, etc.
● Assists in the development, revisions and implementation of policies and procedures for the organization, including for risk management.
● Coordinates with staff to gather responsive documents for discovery and helps prepare staff for depositions or trial testimony.
● Provides support and advice to PPGP public policy and communications staff as requested.
● Develops content and provides training to staff as requested.
● Operates at the highest ethical level, including compliance with applicable laws, regulations and reporting requirements.
● Maintains a professional bearing and demeanor.

Education and Experience
● Completing 3rd year of law school by the summer of 2025 Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Email.
● Effectively present information to groups and individuals through verbal and written formats.
● Demonstrate the ability to recognize, understand, accept and appreciate the value of workplace diversity; respect the practices, values, and points of view of other individuals and groups. Be able to communicate with a diverse group of staff from various professional backgrounds.
● Maintain confidentiality of all PPGP information.
● Express ability to complete activities/projects in a timely manner, on or before scheduled deadlines, with minimal errors.
● Demonstrate self-motivation and ability to work independently within a fast-paced office.
● Prefer experience in a healthcare setting.
