The Butler County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office (located in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.) is hiring an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney.

The position is full-time and is available immediately. Job responsibilities are representing the State of Missouri and the Citizens of Butler County in all types of criminal cases.

Specific tasks include reviewing misdemeanor and felony cases, filing criminal charges and drafting motions, handling associate and circuit law days, as well as conducting trials.

Compensation includes a salary to be determined based on experience but not less than $65,000 per year, health insurance, retirement, as well as paid holidays, vacation, and training.

Applicant must be a member of the Missouri Bar and in good standing. Law School graduates who are taking the Missouri Bar may apply.
