St. Peters growing law firm specializing in family law, criminal defense, traffic/DWI and personal injury seeks associate attorney with 1-3 years experience.

May consider a newly-licensed attorney depending on experience.

Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated and willing to work hard and hustle.
Must be licensed in Missouri in good standing and willing to travel out of the local area to court.

Duties include covering court appearances in St. Louis, St. Charles, Lincoln, Warren, Montgomery, Pike, Ralls and Marion Counties as well as various municipalities, preparing and arguing motions, preparing pleadings and correspondence, preparing and answering discovery requests, client intake, meetings and consultations, court appearances, trial preparation and assistance.
Some knowledge or experience in the areas of family law, criminal defense, traffic and personal injury preferred.
Must have solid working understanding of Microsoft Word and Outlook.

Salary based on experience, and will include a base salary and percentage of fees on cases brought to the firm. Health insurance coverage and 401K offered.
