Our growing business-focused law firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney with 0-3 years of experience to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be involved in a variety of transactional matters, including real estate, mergers and acquisitions, and estate planning. This role provides the opportunity to work closely with clients, senior attorneys, and business professionals to manage and execute complex transactions while gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to real estate, mergers and acquisitions, and estate planning.
• Conduct legal research and provide well-reasoned analysis on various business and transactional matters.
• Manage and support the execution of real estate transactions, including property acquisitions, leases, and sales.
• Participate in M&A due diligence and assist in drafting transaction documents.
• Draft and update estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop strategies for clients and address legal concerns effectively,
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties to facilitate smooth transactions and resolve legal issues.
• Assist with general corporate matters, including business formation, governance, and compliance.
Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• 0-3 years of experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a strong ability to analyze and solve complex legal issues.
• Licensed to practice law in Missouri.
