A vibrant midsize West County law firm is seeking an Employment Law Attorney with at least five (5) years of employment law experience. This role requires expertise in employment & labor law, particularly in advising clients on matters such as EEOC charges, workplace discrimination, preparing employee handbooks, policies, drafting policies, and compliance consultation.

The successful candidate will provide practical legal advice to clients, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.

This is not an Employment Law Litigation position.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Advise clients on EEOC charges and responses, including related documentation and processes
- Counsel clients on workplace discrimination issues, investigating claims, and developing strategies for resolution
- Review, draft, and update employee handbooks and company policies to ensure compliance with employment regulations
- Assist with employment contracts, non-compete agreements, and other related documentation
- Provide guidance on compliance with federal and state employment laws, including wage and hour laws, FMLA, ADA, and others
- Conduct employee training on workplace policies and legal issues as needed
- Stay updated on changes in employment law and inform clients of potential impacts on the business operations
