The ideal candidate will have: (a) a demonstrated passion for economic justice work; (b) strong academic background and writing skills; (c) a positive and empathic attitude; and (d) be creative and free-thinking.

Some litigation experience is preferred, but our firm will consider recently-graduated lawyers if already licensed.

Judicial clerkship experience is highly-valued.

This job will involve all aspects of employment litigation, from intake and administrative charges to discovery, motion practice, jury trials, and appeals. Client relationships are #1 for us, and you’ll have extensive client contact.

Compensation: $100,000-$150,000 base salary; bonus program; generous healthcare benefits; 401(k)/pension plan.

This position is based in our Kansas City, Missouri, office, but can be partial work-from home with 2-3 days a week in office.
