The Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office seeks a full-time assistant prosecuting attorney (APA) to represent the State of Missouri in criminal prosecutions. The preferred applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to the prosecution of domestic violence-related cases. Job duties include reviewing referrals from law enforcement, filing charges, and prosecuting felony and misdemeanor cases through trial or plea.
The preferred candidate will have at least three years of litigation experience. Prior prosecution experience is a plus, and prior domestic violence-related prosecution is ideal. Salary is negotiable based on experience.
