Short version:
This position may entail all responsibilities you have or will read that are listed for other current Missouri APA openings, as well as victim advocacy. If you are seeking a stiff work environment, please apply elsewhere. This is a close-knit, family-friendly office of five, but you could be number six (did you say “seven” after reading “six”?). Will you get rich? No, but let’s face it, you already know that because it is public service / government work. Will it be enjoyable and rewarding? Absolutely. Saline County has a population of around 23,000 people, with both I-70 and US-65 running through it. Albeit a more rural county, case types can range from drugs to murder, financial exploitation of the elderly to 167 mph on the interstate, and child abuse to conservation violations. If you want courtroom experience, you will get it here.
