The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of sophisticated business and transactional experience, with a strong focus on mergers and acquisitions for private equity sponsors and other complex corporate transactions, particularly in middle-market deals. This role involves significant responsibility for drafting and negotiating definitive and ancillary transaction documents, supporting acquisitions, divestitures, and add-on transactions, and managing all phases of the deal lifecycle from initial structuring through closing and post-transaction matters. The associate will work closely with deal teams and clients, including private equity funds, portfolio companies, founders, and management teams, and will collaborate across disciplines to address governance, financing, and operational considerations as part of broader strategic transactions.
