The Law Practice Management Attorney leads the development and delivery of benefits and services for members of The Missouri Bar.

This position serves as a resource to members; fields member inquiries; recommends and facilitates the procurement of member benefits; assists with the development of products and services of particular interest to solo and small firm lawyers; and recruits and manages relationships with sponsors, exhibitors, advertisers, and member benefit providers.

This position will coordinate these opportunities across departments, increase member awareness and utilization of the benefits and services available through The Missouri Bar, and increase discounts and benefits to members and royalties earned by the organization.

This position also identifies law practice management resources and emerging tools and works with internal and external stakeholders to develop resources that help members even better serve their clients.

Responsibilities:

· Assist the Director of CLE & Members Services to manage the department budget.

· Administer the Law Practice Management program, including maintaining a library of resources; and maintain the LPM resource website.

· Respond to member inquiries regarding member benefits and law practice related items.

· Develop and expand opportunities for sponsors and exhibitors to engage with members through programs, events, and other initiatives.

· Develop and maintain a web page of all advertising, sponsorship, and exhibitor options available to vendors.

· Serve as staff liaison to the Member Services and Resources Committee.

· Coordinate and supervise the recruitment and solicitation of sponsors, exhibitors, advertisers, member benefit providers, and other vendors who desire to showcase products or services to Missouri Bar members.

· Manage the portfolio of member services and resources, including regular review and oversight of contractual agreements.

· Exercise discretion and independent judgment in negotiating and managing vendor contracts, including those for advertising, sponsorship, exhibiting, and member benefit programs.

· Oversee MoBar Net, The Missouri Bar Insurance Marketplace, The Missouri Bar Economic Survey, and relationships with assigned strategic partners.

· Collaborate with staff to develop marketing tools and strategies to promote member benefits, discounts, services/products, and exhibitor/sponsor opportunities.

· Monitor, evaluate and report on the effectiveness of marketing and engagement efforts.

· Communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing with attorneys, judges, professional staff, vendors, and colleagues. 

· Provide guidance and technical assistance/support with computer software applications to members

· Deliver responsive, high-quality service to members and stakeholders, ensuring a positive and professional member experience.

· Some in-state travel is required.

· Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

· Juris Doctor required.

· Licensed to practice law for a minimum of five years.

· Admitted to The Missouri Bar or eligible for admission.

· Experience working in a law firm/law office setting preferred.

· Experience with law practice management systems, legal technology, or vendor contract management work preferred.

· Strong computer proficiency and written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with members, vendors and stakeholders.

· Project management skills with strong attention to detail, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

· High level of professionalism, initiative, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively across the organization.
