Role Overview

The Senior Associate Attorney independently manages complex family law matters while contributing to the firm's continued growth and leadership development.

This position offers significant responsibility, including litigation strategy, client management, and mentorship of junior staff.

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong litigation skills, sound legal judgment, and the ability to manage cases efficiently from intake through resolution.


Responsibilities

-Independently manage a family law caseload from intake through resolution

-Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation materials

-Conduct legal research and develop case strategies

-Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings

-Provide strategic legal advice to clients on complex matters

-Collaborate with colleagues on case development and litigation strategy

-Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with firm procedures

-Stay current on relevant legal developments and continuing education


Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Active Missouri Bar license

Minimum 3 years of litigation experience, preferably in family law

Strong legal research and writing skills

Experience managing client relationships and court appearances

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
