A majority of the Circuit and Associate Circuit Judges will make the
appointment for a term of (4) years, at an annual salary of an associate
circuit judge, payable by the State of Missouri, pursuant to RSMo
ยง478.003.
Missouri law requires the Treatment Court
Commissioner(s) to possess the same qualifications as an associate
circuit judge, including those set forth in the Missouri Constitution,
Article V, Section 21, to wit, they must be qualified voters of the
state, residents of St. Louis County, Missouri, at least twenty-five
years old, licensed to practice law in Missouri; and possess all other
qualifications as required by law. (See RSMo Chapter 478).
