Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Trial Attorney to join our Columbia, Missouri office, though location is flexible based on experience. The Trial Attorney will manage a diverse caseload, including preparing and filing motions, conducting depositions, representing clients in court, and participating in trials. The position requires working closely with clients, legal teams, and courts on civil litigation and civil rights matters. Salary commensurate with experience, with bonus opportunities and a competitive benefits package.


Qualifications

--5+ years experience, with civil litigation experience preferred
--Experience preparing motions and handling other court filings
--Proficiency in conducting depositions and pre-trial discovery
--Trial experience preferred, but will consider applicants with civil background without trial experience
--Exceptional analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
--Value teamwork and a collegiate atmosphere
--Licensed to practice law in Missouri
--Strong communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills
--Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment
--Experience in employment law, civil rights, or discrimination cases is a plus
