Complaint Resolution Committee

The Missouri Bar Board of Governors is seeking applications from members of The Missouri Bar for appointment to serve on the Complaint Resolution Committee. The Board of Governors will be making an appointment to the committee for a term of four years.  The term of service will begin immediately and end on December 31, 2029.  
 
The Complaint Resolution Program provides an alternative method for the resolution of lawyer disciplinary complaints. The Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel may refer to the Complaint Resolution Program those complaints it believes could be resolved through an alternative resolution process rather than formal disciplinary proceedings.  

The Complaint Resolution Committee oversees the program and the complaint resolution panel of volunteers. The program administrator is a member of the professional staff of The Missouri Bar, who is selected and assigned duties by the executive director of The Missouri Bar. The Complaint Resolution Committee is composed of five members of The Missouri Bar appointed by the Board of Governors of The Missouri Bar. Committee members serve terms of four years, with a limit of two terms.
