Gabriela Baeza-Stout

Gabriela Baeza-Stout is the Director, Associate General Counsel – Transactions at Spire. She is an accomplished attorney with years of experience both in-house and in private practice. She has broad experience in in commercial transactions as well as corporate and M&A matters and intellectual property as it relates to transactional law.

Gabriela is skilled at developing and implementing strategies for her clients to reduce risk and enhance efficiency, and based on her work in-house, is a true partner in every aspect of the client relationship, advising clients on a host of business matters including corporate governance, technology agreements, advertising and promotions.

Prior to joining Spire, she was a Senior Associate at Armstrong Teasdale’s Corporate Group Practice where she was a member of the firm's Technology Transactions team, the Data Innovation, Security and Privacy practice and the firm’s Artificial Intelligence team. Gabriela’s in-house experience includes working as corporate and M&A counsel for Charter Communications. She also has extensive experience in intellectual property, having worked in-house as an IP paralegal for Build-A-Bear managing a robust global trademark portfolio, and as an Intellectual Property legal administrator for Armstrong Teasdale earlier in her career. Outside the legal field, Gabriela has held leadership and professional roles in prominent art and history museums in the United States and abroad, and university teaching engagements in the field of cultural studies and languages.
