Minimum Continuing Legal Education (MCLE)

LAWYERS RECENTLY ASSESSED AN MCLE LATE FEE: To establish full compliance for the 2020-21 MCLE reporting period, all CLE educational requirements must first be reported in the online MCLE annual report. Upon submission of all required CLE credits, a payment button will appear on the main reporting menu, allowing payment online by credit or debit card, or providing instructions for payment by check. Full compliance will generate a separate email to the email address on file with The Missouri Bar, confirming that compliance for the 2020-21 MCLE reporting year has been met. Please note that failure to meet full compliance by Sept. 30, 2021, will result in the assessment of an additional $50 late fee, with an increase of $50 assessed at the conclusion of each successive month in which compliance has not been met.

ATTENTION LAWYERS WITH MCLE DEFICIENCY PLANS:
Lawyers who filed timely MCLE deficiency plans have until Sept. 30, 2021, to complete all CLE activities and file the online Annual Report to avoid assessment of the $250 retroactive late fee.

LATE FEE ASSESSMENT FOR THE 2020-2021 REPORTING PERIOD: In accordance with Rule 15.06(c), a late fee of $200 will be assessed on Aug. 31, 2021, to any lawyer who did not file a deficiency plan by July 31, 2021 and who is not in compliance with Rule 15 for the 2020-2021 MCLE reporting period. Pursuant to Rule 15, an additional late fee of $50 will be assessed at the end of each successive month in which the MCLE delinquency is not remedied. Please be aware that pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 15.06, a list of lawyers who are not in compliance with Rule 15 will be submitted to the Supreme Court of Missouri no later than March 1, 2022. Lawyers included on the delinquency list will be automatically suspended from practice. See Rule 15.06(f).
