INSTRUCTIONS FOR PAYING MCLE LATE FEE BY MAILING A CHECK

Late Fee Amount:  Pursuant to Missouri Supreme Court Rule 15.06(c), lawyers failing to meet the Rule 15 credit hour and reporting requirements for the applicable compliance period shall be assessed a $200 late fee.  The late fee for compliance before the end of each successive month shall increase by $50 until compliance with Rule 15 is established, not to exceed $500.  The late fee amount provided on your Annual Report main menu is the current amount that has been assessed to you for the applicable reporting year, only. Please be aware that all checks for an amount other than the exact late fee amount currently owed will be returned to sender. Compliance with Rule 15 cannot be established until your payment has been received by The Missouri Bar AND your MCLE Annual Report of Compliance has been filed. Failure to establish compliance by the last day of each successive month following the initial fee assessment of $200 will result in an additional late fee assessment of $50 per month until compliance is established.
