Legislative Engagement Center
As a member of the legal profession, a lawyers is a representative of clients, an officer of the legal system, and a public citizen having a special responsibility for the quality of justice (Mo. Sup. Ct. R. 4, Preamble). In all three capacities, you have an interest in legislative developments.
The Missouri Bar's Legislative Engagement Center provides you with the tools to stay up to date and informed. Use the Bills of Interest feeds to identify bills in your practice area and see the latest legislative action on them. The Legislative Digest is made available each year as a service to all members of The Missouri Bar. It provides comprehensive summaries for all legislation enacted during the year, as well as other tools to aid in navigating the new laws and access to other online resources. The General Assembly links provide access to legislative resources, including Bill Search, House and Senate directories, committee hearing schedules and more.
