01-251113-02: Associate Litigation Attorney - Construction & Real Estate

Gabris Law, LLC

Mostly Remote/Virtual - St. Louis, Missouri

Gabris Law, LLC seeks a litigation attorney with 0-5 years of experience, or interest, in one or more of the following areas:

• Construction Law & Litigation
• Real Estate Matters
• Commercial Litigation

Mostly remote/virtual apart from regular court appearances, depositions, mediations, trials and routine in-person firm meetings.

Job Number:  01-251113-02:  Associate Litigation Attorney - Construction & Real Estate

Company Name:   Gabris Law, LLC

An ideal candidate would have experience with preparing pleadings and motions, taking depositions, locating and vetting experts, interviewing witnesses, serving and analyzing discovery as well as proficiency in research and writing.

Trial experience is a plus, but not a determining factor, as the successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn and receive guidance to develop trial/litigation skills while working the cases assigned to him/her at the firm.

Most importantly, the successful candidate will have a genuine willingness to learn every day and be open minded, be willing to take on whatever task/need that may arise (with the mentality that s/he is willing to sacrifice or, in some instances, go out of their comfort zone to do their best—hopefully out of respect and a sense of appreciation—for their fellow team members), and who takes pride in their work and duty to the firm’s clients.

Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Missouri.

Compensation is competitive and will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience. Benefits include mostly virtual/remote work with limited exceptions as stated above, an annual stipend for health insurance, paid time off, professional development opportunities, and a supportive, collaborative, and respectful work environment.

The ideal candidate will have to be motivated and self-governing as the position is mostly virtual, and the firm’s case load demands a self-sufficient, driven attorney. The expectation is that the successful candidate will bill at least 1,500 hours per year.
