President Levings reviewed the purpose of this special meeting of the Board of Governors as previously specified in written notice was to fill the vacancy in the office of president-elect caused by the resignation of Judge Richard B. Teitelman, who was recently appointed to the Supreme Court of Missouri. President Levings opened nominations and current Vice-President Dale Doerhoff was duly nominated and elected by acclamation to the office of president-elect of The Missouri Bar. President Levings then indicated that the office of vice-president was vacant and that nominations were open for that position. Mr. Thomas M. Lang was duly nominated and elected by acclamation to the office of vice-president.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
