1. 2002 Board of Governors Election Results:

Ms. Levings accepted the certified results of the 2002 Board election.

2. Nomination and Election of the 2002-2003 President of The Missouri Bar:

Mr. Ruth nominated Dale Doerhoff as President. The nomination was seconded by Ms. McCarthy and Mr. Bien. There being no further nominations, it was moved and seconded that Mr. Doerhoff be elected by acclamation. The motion was approved. At this point, Mr. Doerhoff took the Chair.

3. Nomination and Election of the 2002-2003 President-Elect of The Missouri Bar:

Mr. Ryan nominated Mr. Corrigan as President-Elect. The nomination was seconded by Messrs. Cowherd and Hilton. There being no further nominations, it was moved and seconded that Mr. Corrigan be elected by acclamation. The motion was approved.

4. Nomination and Election of the 2002-2003 Vice-President of The Missouri Bar:

Mr. Harris nominated Ms. Dean. The nomination was seconded by Messrs. Baird and Igoe. Mr. Whisler was nominated by Mr. Lang. The nomination was seconded by Messrs. Bien and Peace. Mr. Halliburton was nominated by Mr. Ryan. The nomination was seconded by Ms. Taylor and Mr. Walther. Upon a vote by written ballot, no candidate received a majority vote. Mr. Halliburton received the lowest vote total and dropped off the ballot. Upon a second written ballot, Mr. Whisler received a majority of votes and was elected Vice-President.

5. Caucus and Election of District Members of the Executive Committee:

At this point, the meeting briefly recessed and the members caucused by district of the Court of Appeals to nominate representatives to the Executive Committee. The meeting reconvened, and the following were selected as new members of the Executive Committee: Mr. Hilton from the Eastern District, Mr. Walther from the Western District, and Mr. Squibb from the Southern District.

6. Next Meeting of the Board of Governors:

Mr. Doerhoff reminded members that the 2002-2003 Board of Governors would meet in Jefferson City for its first regular meeting, at which time the Board would consider, among other matters, the budget for the 2002-2003 Bar year.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
