1. 2012 - 2013 Board of Governors Election Results:
The certified results of the election were received by the Board.
2. Nomination and Election of the 2012 – 2013 President of The Missouri Bar:
Mr. Walter Simpson nominated Patrick B. Starke. Mr. Eric Wulff seconded the nomination. There being no further nominations, the nominations were closed and Mr. Starke was elected by acclamation.
At this point, Mr. Starke took the chair.
3. Nomination and Election of the 2012 – 2013 President-Elect of The Missouri Bar:
Mr. Brett Roubal nominated Mr. P. Jack Brady. Mr. Douglass Noland seconded the nomination. There being no further nominations, the nominations were closed and Mr. Brady was elected by acclamation.
4. Nomination and Election of the 2012 – 2013 Vice President of The Missouri Bar:
Mr. Eric Wulff nominated Mr. Mark Levison. Ms. Mira Mdivani nominated Nancy Mogab. Ms. Dana Tippin Cutler nominated Rueben Shelton. At this point, the nominations were closed and a confidential ballot was circulated to members of the board. The first ballot did not produce a majority of votes in favor of one of the three candidates. A second confidential ballot was circulated to choose between the two candidates who received the greatest number of votes on the first ballot. The two candidates were Reuben Shelton and Nancy Mogab. Mr. Reuben Shelton was elected by a majority of the votes cast in the second ballot.
5. Caucus and Election of the District Members of the Executive Committee:
At this point, the Board briefly recessed so that members from the three districts of the Court of Appeals could caucus and elect district members to the Executive Committee. The Board reconvened and the following results were announced: Western District— Douglass Noland ; Southern District—Joseph P. Rice, III; Eastern District – John W. Grimm.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
